GP Opportunities

Calling all GPs - Your City Needs You!

Are you a first five, mid-career or more experienced GP looking for a new opportunity?

Or a locum looking for more from General Practice without the risk of Partnership?

Would you like to be part of a new clinical model that makes a difference to patient care?

Are you looking for portfolio career opportunities?

Are personal development and growth opportunities important to you?

Do you want a work life balance that fits for you not just the practice?

We are looking for GP applicants at any career stage!

At NCGPA, we operate across 3 general practice locations in Nottingham City and an extended access service, GP+. NCGPA feels a supported developmental GP career is essential so we listen to candidates' aspirations, so we can offer you the most appropriate role to support your career development as well as delivering high quality patient services. We are implementing an innovative and individual pay framework which integrates the GP salaried contract model with graded pay-bands reflecting expertise, to ensure that your salary acknowledges and rewards your personal experience. Our new clinical model enables GPs to make a difference to patient care, without the risks of partnership - enabling a work life balance that suits you.

All practices are active members of their respective Primary Care Networks and are keen to develop teaching, training and research interests within each site and across the organisation. As part of the NCGPA family we are committed to providing mentorship and support for GPs at all stages of their career. NCGPA has also developed clear Clinical and Operational Governance structures to support its services and identify and share learning opportunities across the organisation.

NCGPA has developed strong links across the Nottingham City Place Based Partnership (PBP) working closely with Public Health, local government and voluntary care sector to provide a holistic approach to patient care.

Is personal development and growth important to you? We are offering opportunities for researchers, tutors and mentors at all levels. We understand the importance of education and research to support career development for our practices and are working closely with a local surgery where medical education is led, as well as investing in research development opportunities to provide benefits for our GPs and patients.
